Boasting dozens of national parks ,Uganda is supremely diverse wildlife viewing destination ,home to a wealth forest and savannah animals, a well 1000-plus bird species ,where you can track chimpazees,walk with white rhinos, get up close to shoebills, and take a safari in search for tree climbing lions ,spending a magical hour with iconic mountains gorillas of Bwindi is worth a million times, and not missing to hear fascinating stories about islands on lake bunyonyi for example the punishment island .
DAY 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
You will have an early breakfast and drive to Murchison Falls National Park via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the opportunity to trek the Rhinos. The sanctuary houses Uganda’s Rhino reintroduction project. There are 9 white rhinos and tracking is done on foot for 1 and half hours. You will continue to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giraffes, elephants, oribi, Jackson’s hartebeest, warthogs, view predators like lions and leopards if you are lucky, spot different bird species among others. After lunch you will go for an amazing boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will be able to view hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs among others drinking water along the shores, view water birds like cormorants, hornbills, kingfishers among others. After transfer to kibale forest national park which is approximately 3 hours
Day 3: chimpanzee trekking in bundongo forest
You will start your day with an early morning at your lodge, after breakfast move with your packed lunch as you proceed to budongo forest. Upon arrival, you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking. during trekking you will come across many other primates as they swing in the tree branches, spot many bird species and after chimpanzee trekking, you will travel back to your lodge
DAY 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Transfer to queen Elizabeth national park the second largest national park and the most diverse national park which is set in the low-lying rift valley that crosses the equator of the lofty Rwenzori. The park is most popular attraction with a scenic boat trip that runs up to the mweya peninsular along the kazinga channel past the large of elephant, buffalos and hippos. Have a stopover at the equator in masaka for photos and lunch. Continue with the journey to queen Elizabeth national park, reach in the evening for dinner and overnight stay

Afternoon boat cruise
After lunch you will go for an amazing boat cruise on Kaziga channel a water body that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the boat cruise you are likely to spot hippos, Nile crocodiles in water, view elephants, buffaloes, warthogs among others drinking water along the shores, view water birds like hornbills, cormorants, kingfishers, bee-eaters, fish eagles among others. After the boat cruise which takes about 2 to 3 hours, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight
Day 6: Morning game in ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will have an early morning cup of coffee, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide for a transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will have a stopover in Ishasha sector where you will be able to view the tree climbing lions which will be lying up in acacia or fig tree branches during the game drive. After the game drive, you will have en-route lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park and transfer to lake bunyonyi.(optional)
After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to go for a gorilla trekking briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing you will be allocated a habituated gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is well conversant with the trekking trails. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located.
During trekking you will be able to view other primates’ species, different birds, and plant and tree species among others. Once the gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn about their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos and record the videos. After the one hour with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point where you will be allocated a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking, meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge 0r transfer to lake Bunyonyi for an afternoon boat cruise on lake bunyonyi which is bilharzia free and therefore safe for swimming, hear fascinating stories about the lake with its 29 islands including the punishment island.
DAY 8: Transfer to lake Mburo
After morning breakfast travel to lake Mburo which is approximately 4 hours and do the Afternoon boat cruise, During the boat cruise you will be able to view large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view elephants, buffaloes, warthogs among others drinking water along the shores, view water birds like hornbills, cormorants, kingfishers, bee-eaters, fish eagles among others. After the boat cruise which takes about 2 to 3 hours, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight
DAY 9: Morning game drive to transfer to Kampala
After breakfast, you check out of the lodge will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giraffes, elephants, oribi, Jackson’s hartebeest, warthogs, view predators like lions and leopards if you are lucky, spot different bird species among others and after game drive, continue with your journey to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch in Mbarara town and a stopover at the Equator to take photos and buy souvenirs. From the Equator you will proceed to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of convenience.
