Day 1: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

In the morning, we will depart from Kampala and drive towards Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, we will stop for lunch in Masindi town. After lunch, we will continue our journey and reach the park’s southern entrance in less than an hour. We will check in with the park and start driving through the dense Budongo Forest, where you can spot various bird species. We will then proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

We will wake up early in the morning and embark on a game drive to explore the park’s wildlife. The early morning hours offer a better chance to spot nocturnal animals and elusive predators such as lions, hyenas, leopards, and jackals. We will then return to the lodge for breakfast before setting out for a boat cruise on the River Nile. During the cruise, we will see various animals such as crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants cooling off by the river banks. We will also witness herds of hippos playing in the waters and take photographs of the various animals. After the boat cruise, we will head back to the lodge for lunch and check out before driving back to Kampala.
